For Uhost participating in various promotional activities, the specific billing details shall be subject to the official activity rules published.
Yearly Billing
Yearly billing means paying for orders on a yearly cycle. The default purchase duration is one year. If you need to purchase for a longer time, select 2 years or 3 years from the drop-down box. Currently, the maximum duration of a single order for a cloud host is 3 years. This type of billing method is suitable for long-term stable businesses.
If you do not actively delete resources after the resource payment expires, and the auto-renewal function is enabled, the system will default to deduct the cost of the next period for you under the condition of sufficient account balance, and the resource validity period will be extended. For specific rules, please refer to the resource renewal。
If the account balance is insufficient, the status will be expired after the resource expires. For specific rules, see Resource Recycling。
If you still need to keep this cloud server, please recharge in time. For detailed operation methods of manual renewal, see Resource Renewal。
The current annual payment discount strategy for the host is as follows:
uhost | udisk | EIP | |
---|---|---|---|
1 year | 17% off | 17% off | 17% off |
2 years | 30% off | 30% off | 17% off |
3 years | 50% off | 50% off | 17% off |
- When the order purchase duration is one year, it will be processed with a 17% discount, that is, buy for ten months and get two months for free. If you need to purchase orders for more than ten months, it is recommended to choose the annual payment method first.
- The annual discount applies to all cloud host models and disk types.
- For annual payment orders, the cost of the purchase period must be paid before the order begins. If you stop using the host and delete resources within the purchase period of the host product, the system will deduct the cost of the duration you have used and refund you. At this time, you do not enjoy the annual payment discount, and the deducted cost is the monthly price * usage duration.
For example: Suppose you purchased a new host for 1 year on May 15, 2020. According to the monthly price (100 * 12), you originally need to pay 1200 yuan. Because you enjoy the annual payment discount, you only need to pay 1000 yuan; On June 15, 2020, you renewed for 2 years (order period: May 15, 2021~May 15, 2023). The renewal time enjoys a 30% discount, you only need to pay 1680 yuan; On July 15, 2020, you upgrade or downgrade, the difference part enjoys a 50% discount (judged by the duration of the entire order cycle, 1+2=3 years), the difference = (new configuration monthly price - original configuration monthly price) * remaining duration * applicable annual discount.
Monthly Billing
Monthly billing means paying for orders on a monthly cycle, this type of billing method is suitable for start-ups or growing businesses.
If you currently expect to use the service for a period of 1 to 9 months, you can choose to pay monthly. If you expect to purchase for a period of 10 months or more at one time, it is recommended that you choose to pay yearly, and you can enjoy a yearly payment discount.
- To meet users' needs for aligning bills, the default optional time for monthly payment is currently set to the end of the purchase month, followed by 1 to 9 months.
- Monthly payment orders need to be paid for the purchase cycle before the order starts. If you stop using the host and delete resources within the product purchase period, the system will deduct the cost of the duration you have used and process a refund. The refund amount = prepaid amount - (actual order amount × (used duration ÷ total duration of the month) × 1.5), that is, if less than one month, the used time is deducted according to the hourly payment price. 。
- At the same time, you can enable the automatic renewal feature. When your account balance is sufficient, the system will automatically deduct the cost of the next period when the resource expires, ensuring the smooth operation of your resources. If the account balance is insufficient and you do not renew in time, the resource will expire.
If the current resource is expired for 10 days or more, the resource will be reclaimed, see Resource Reclaim for details.
For example: If a user purchases a new monthly-paid UHost on March 1, 2021, at 8:00, and chooses a billing cycle of 1 month, they need to pay the monthly fee in advance to use it. If they continue to use it after it expires at 8:00 on April 1, 2021, they need to renew the fee in time within the expiration period.
Hourly Billing
Hourly billing means paying for orders on an hourly billing cycle. This type of billing method is suitable for temporarily opening services in bulk to cope with promotions or sudden increases in business.
If you choose the Hourly billing method, you need to prepay for 1 hour of the cost to use the host product. During the subsequent usage time, the system will deduct the cost of the next stage before use.
Orders billed on an hourly basis are generated every hour, that is, an order information is generated every hour.
- The unit price for hourly billing is about 1.5 times the price of monthly billing for the same usage duration.
- Users who are billed hourly can independently change their billing method to monthly or yearly payment.
- Currently, we only support upgrades in billing methods, that is, hourly billing can be changed to monthly or yearly billing, and monthly billing can be changed to yearly payment.
- If you delete this resource during the usage period, the system will deduct the usage time cost (less than one hour will be rounded up to one hour for charging), and the remaining fee will be returned to your account.
For example: If you successfully purchase a cloud host by paying for 1 hour at 12:00 on March 1, 2021, the billing cycle will be from 12:00 to 13:00. The system will pre-deduct the fees for the 13:00-14:00 period at 13:00 and so on. For users who choose to pay by the hour (prepaid), please ensure that there is sufficient balance in your account to pay for subsequent fees.
Postpaid
The post-payment mode charges by the hour. No charges are collected when purchasing the host. When used to the full hour, a post-payment bill is generated. Auto-renewal is enabled by default. When the current account balance is sufficient, the system will automatically pay for your order costs.
If you make configuration changes to the host, the original configuration will stop immediately, and the new configuration will take effect immediately. During this period, the system will charge separately based on the usage time of the old configuration resources and the new configuration resources.
For example: If you purchased a postpaid host at 9:20 on March 1, 2021, the system will generate a pending payment order for you at 10:00 on March 2, 2021. The payment amount = (usage duration (/minute) /60) * hourly price.
If your original host configuration was 1 core 1G, and you upgrade the configuration to 2 cores 2G at 9:40, the system will generate a pending payment order for 1 core 1G at 9:40, with a usage duration of (9:20-9:40). Then, at 10:00, it will generate a pending payment order for 2 cores 2G, with a usage duration of (9:40-10:00). If you have accumulated three overdue orders, your resources may be reclaimed. Please renew your subscription in time.
Currently, only hosts with system disks and data disks as cloud disks are supported (hosts with local disks are not yet supported), and it is gradually being phased in, so you may not be able to apply.
