Delete Resource and Refund

Prepaid

When deleting resources, if your resources have not yet expired, the system will automatically refund the unspent portion of the amount. Resources paid for on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis enjoy a cycle discount when purchased. If the usage does not fulfill a full cycle, the discount will be deducted when refunding.

Refund Amount = Max(0, Actual Order Amount - Amount Consumed)

  • Actual Paid Order Amount: The amount paid by the user in cash or bonus after enjoying the discount, excluding the part paid by vouchers.
  • Daily When the usage duration is less than the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual order amount × (Usage duration ÷ Total duration of purchase cycle) × 1.25 When the usage duration equals the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual order payment
  • Monthly When the usage duration is less than the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual order amount × (Usage duration ÷ Total duration of purchase cycle) × 1.5 When the usage duration equals the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual order amount.
  • Yearly When the usage duration is less than the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Monthly price × 12 × Number of years × (Usage duration ÷ Total duration of purchase cycle) When the usage duration is equal to the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual order amount.
  • If the consumed amount is greater than or equal to the actual paid order amount, the refund amount is zero, and the overdue part is not collected.
  • In the refund amount, the part of the voucher used at the time of purchase is not refundable, and the non-voucher part used at the time of purchase (cash/bonus) is refunded according to the payment ratio.
  • The minimum billing unit for a refund is an hour, and less than an hour is calculated as an hour.
Example 1: You purchase a UHost for one month, paying 800 . After using it for 10 days, you delete the resource for a refund, which is calculated according to the refund formula:
Consumed amount: 800 × (10 ÷ 30) × 1.5 = 400
Refund amount: 800 - 400 = 400

Example 2: You purchase a UHost for three months in one go, paying 2400 . After using it for 45 days, you delete the resource for a refund, which is calculated according to the refund formula:
Consumed amount: 2400 × (45 ÷ 90) × 1.5 = 1800
Refund amount: 2400 - 1800 = 600

Example 3: You purchase a UHost for one year, paying 8000 (monthly price 800 ). After using it for 2 months, you delete the resource for a refund, which is calculated according to the refund formula:
Consumed amount: 800 × 12 × 1 × (2 ÷ 12) = 1600
Refund amount: 8000 - 1600 = 6400

Example 4: You purchase a UHost for one year, paying 8000 (monthly price 800 ). After using it for 11 months, you delete the resource for a refund, which is calculated according to the refund formula:
Consumed amount: 800 × 12 × 1 × (11 ÷ 12) = 8800
Refund amount: 8000 - 8800 = -800 . The refund amount is 0 , no extra charges for the excess amount.
Example 5: You purchase a UHost for three years in one go, paying 14400 (monthly price 800 ). After using it for 15 months, you delete the resource for a refund, which is calculated according to the refund formula:
Consumed amount: 800 × 12 × 3 × (15 ÷ 36) = 12000
Refund amount: 14400 - 12000 = 2400

Postpaid

When postpaid resources are deleted, the system will automatically settle the accounts, charging fees based on the amount of resources used.
