Overview
surfercloud-CDN provides real-time monitoring features. Under the Real-Time Monitoring page on the control panel, you will see data such as bandwidth, request count, hit rate, status code, and back-to-source bandwidth and status code for static acceleration and full-site acceleration. This article will help you understand and query the monitoring data of UCDN.
Overview of Monitoring Items
Monitoring Item | Description |
---|---|
Remaining Traffic | The default billing method is Prepaid Traffic Package, showing Remaining Traffic, Remaining Traffic = Total Traffic of Purchased Traffic Package - Used Traffic; If your billing mode is Monthly Bandwidth, it shows the peak bandwidth of the day. If the billing method is Monthly Traffic, it shows the traffic used in the current month. |
Current Billing Mode | The default is the prepaid traffic package. When the billing mode is changed to monthly, the purchased traffic package will no longer be used, and the current billing mode is displayed as: postpaid monthly. |
Bandwidth/Traffic | It displays the downlink bandwidth generated by the user at the current time granularity, and the billing is based on the downlink bandwidth. The system defaults to display the monitoring situation of the last day, and you can also choose the time granularity of the query according to your needs, supporting the longest query time span of 31 days, and the longest support for querying data in the last half year; If you use advanced filtering, you can view it by operator or by region, and the longest support for querying data for 31 days. |
Request Count/Back-to-origin Request Count | Request count monitoring, which can analyze the user request volume during a certain period. |
Hit Rate | Hit rate monitoring, including traffic hit rate and request count hit rate, through which the situation of CDN node responding to user requests can be analyzed. |
Status Code/Back-to-origin Status Code | Status code monitoring, you can view the status code situation of the domain, supporting the display of 1XX\2XX\3XX\4XX\5XX status codes. |
Hit Rate Monitoring
Hit rate monitoring is an important monitoring item of the CDN service. Through hit rate monitoring, you can understand the caching situation of CDN nodes. The higher the hit rate, the more it indicates that CDN nodes have hit user requests, which will greatly enhance the user experience.
The number of requests monitoring mainly consists of two parts: filter conditions and data details.
The filter conditions include:
-
Region: global
-
Business group: default is all
-
Acceleration type: page, download, on-demand; default is all
-
domain: you can choose multiple domains, a single domain, all domains; the default is all domains
-
Granularity: 5 minutes, hour, day;
-
Duration: the last day, the last week, the last month, custom time range. The system defaults to display the monitoring situation of the last day, and you can also choose the time granularity of the query according to the needs, and it supports querying data for up to 31 days; if you use advanced filtering, you can view it according to the operator or region, and it supports querying data for up to 31 days.
Note:
If you want to view the data situation of March 4th for one day, the time is set to: 3-4 00:00:00~ 3-5 00:00:00
If the query time range is more than 30 days, it does not support viewing the monitoring data of "5 minutes" and "1 minute" granularity
If the query time range is less than or equal to 1 day, it does not support viewing the monitoring data of "day" granularity
The data details include:
-
Average traffic hit rate refers to the proportion of the traffic of the data that has been cached by the UCDN node when the terminal user accesses the UCDN node to all the request traffic responded by the UCDN.
-
Average request hit rate: refers to the proportion of times the data has been cached by the UCDN node when the terminal user accesses the UCDN node at all access times.
Status Code Monitoring
Status code monitoring is an important monitoring item of the CDN service. Through status code monitoring, you can understand the service status of the CDN.
Status code monitoring is mainly composed of two parts: filter conditions and data details.
The filter conditions include:
-
Region: global
-
Business group: default is all
-
Acceleration type: page, download, on-demand; default is all
-
domain: you can choose multiple domains, a single domain, all domains; default is all domains
-
Granularity: 5 minutes, hour, day;
-
Duration: the last day, the last week, the last month, custom time range.
Note:
If you want to view the data situation on March 4th, the time is set to: 3-4 00:00:00~ 3-5 00:00:00
If the query time range is more than 30 days, it does not support viewing "5 minutes" granularity monitoring data
If the query time range is less than or equal to 1 day, it does not support viewing "day" granularity monitoring data
Request Number Monitoring
Request number monitoring is an important monitoring item of the CDN service. Through request number monitoring, you can view the request volume of a business at a certain time, to analyze the peak and low points of the business.
Data details include:
-
Total number of requests: Refers to the number of requests accessing the CDN.
-
Peak total number of requests: The peak value of the total number of requests and the corresponding time within the query time range.
-
Valley total number of requests: The valley value of the total number of requests and the corresponding time within the query time range.
-
Number of back-to-source requests: The summary of the number of requests for CDN back-to-source.
